October 2017. Performing Identities on exhibition at Four Corners in London and Studio BONG Gallery in Florence

This month my series Performing Identities has been displayed at Four Corners Gallery and at studio BONG Gallery.

This month I have also started and arts the residency with the Family and the Schools Programme at the Whitechapel Gallery started which will end mid January 2018.

At the same time, I have been invited to deliver artist talks and lectures at Westminster University and Kingston School of Arts- Kingston University. I have also run a course on cyanotype printing and pinhole photography at National Portrait Gallery.

August 2017. Instagram take over

I have being doing two take overs on Instagram during these holidays. First at The Photography Archive and Research Centre at the University of The Arts London and then for Fast Forward: Women In Photo. A research project by UCA Farham supported by The Lerverhulme Trust.

July 2017. Lecture for Sotheby’s Institute of Art

This is the third consecutive year that Sotheby’s Institute of Art invites me to lecture for their Summer Study programme!

June 2017. Exhibition at The Photographers’ Gallery

This month I have exhibited and presented my new series Performing Identities at The Photographers’ Gallery as part of the London Alternative Photography Collective take over event in the Eranda Studio.

May 2017. Exhibition at Diaspora Pavilion, Venice Biennale, and start of the Photographic Processes Course at the Victoria and Albert Museum

I have been working for several months with artist Khadija Saye on a collaboration to produce a series of tintypes. The work is on display at the Diaspora Pavilion until November 2017.

This month I have also started to teach a Photographic Processes course at the Victoria and Albert Museum in relation to the Prix Pictet.

April 2017. Participatory art project commissioned by the Photography Archive and Research Centre

The Photography Archive and Research Centre of the University of the Arts London commissioned me to deliver a participatory art project based on a pop-up darkroom and portrait studio to create a series of tintype portraits to be later exhibited and published by the Photography Archive and Research Centre. Documentation of the pop-up set by Marcelo Deguchi.

The Photography Archive and Research Centre at UAL commissioned me to produce 80 tintype portraits over 4 consecutive days. March 2017. Artist conversation and workshops for the Moose On The Loose Biennale of Research at the UAL.

This March I have been ask to lead a conversation with Garry Fabian Miller as part of the SHADOWS II: Natural Transformations symposium, Moose on The Loose Biennale of Research of the University of the Arts London (UAL). I have also contributed to the biennial by running some chemigram workshops.

January 2017. Artist talk at London Art Fair

Organised by Photomonitor and chaired by Kim Shaw, Executive Director of Photofusion, Material Matters: On making and the physicality of photography, focused on the importance of materiality in photographic practice. I shared panel with Sophy Rickett, Martin Newth, Edouard Taufenbach and Dafna Talmor.
