The Chlorophyll printing process alters the photosynthesis process of a plant/ leave. By feeding the plant with extraordinary amounts of UV light the plant naturally changes the carotenoids pigments present in a leave to chlorophyll pigments, as chlorophyll pigments absorb better UV, blue and violet light. Chlorophyll pigments appear green because these pigments absorb light across the whole range of the energy spectrum, except for green wave lengths, which are reflected back, and therefore, visible to us.
